Call someone out by name or shut the fuck up with this vague "nerdcore is bad stuff" bullshit. Who exactly is making this "racist nerdcore"? Is it someone preeminent in the scene such as MC Frontalot? Or is it a lower-tier hanger-on? Say a name, for fuck's sake.

Of course, if you had bothered to be involved with the scene for more than a fraction of a second before passing judgment maybe your opinion would hold a more water, but it's increasingly obvious that you simply view the nerdy music scene in "what can it do for me" terms.

One day you're sucking up to the nerdcore scene by throwing around a few free collaborations (except Scrub Club, who gets charged a few thousand dollars) in an attempt to buy a perception of magnanimity, the next you're making broad negative swipes at it in a sad attempt to make yourself look like a respectable social commentator. Regardless of which story the truth is, you're only *costing* yourself the respect of your peers.

Maybe people like me who aren't quite as well-known don't matter to you any more, but for what little it's worth as the key organizer of Nerdapalooza 2007-2008, your course of action has caused me to only lose respect for you. If you want to call the nerdcore scene out in a true dialog, the proper venue for that is a RhymeTorrents post or by e-mail to the offending party or parties, not in a for-public-consumption interview and a for-public-consumption release.
